Well no complaints about living in France from us. Just South of Angouleme as we are and about 40 minutes from Cognac in the Charente Maritime, the weather this October has been generally amazing.
I was in Bordeaux this week for a bit of window shopping and it was 30C - just boiling. Who would have throught T-shirts in October?
It was the same at Montaurand so we had some lovely guests sunning themselves on the courtyard of our bed and breakfast before they went off to Riberac and Brantome and Aubterre for lunch.
It is so great living under a clear blue sky but we do need ome rain as it has been very dry this year and teh fields and grass are having a hard time.
We have to make sure there is enough food for our sheep after all.
