One of the fun things about having a chambres d'hotes is the interesting people who choose to stay here - we get to meet some great folks and they always add a nice vibe to out house and appreciate the calm tranquil atmosphere we have created here.
Some are retired , others run their own business or work in creative fields - they each have a story to share and a view of the world . Its great that the world comes to us and we love having international guests - dutch , US, Far Eastern, Australian, you name it really.
Because we are a great stopping off point if you are visiting provence, cannes, toulouse, aix en provence, the camargue and other southern french places, lots of guests break their journey here as they head through france. To relax from the rigours of driving and appreciate a moment of tranquility.
The great breakfast and coffee fortifies them for the next stage of teh journey and they can eat a great dinner in the lovely local restaurants in villebois lavalete, combiers, montbron, angouleme, cognac, riberac, brantome or bergerac.
