We continue to bask in fantastic weather with blue sky and heat every day here at Montaurand.
We went to the night market at Montbron on Friday night with our guests for Moules Frites which was fun - about 200 stalls with all sorts of food stands and a good french rock band. They were cross between the rollings stones, acdc and nirvana with interesting takes on classic rock songs.
That the beauty of this region of france - department 16 - there is always something going on if you feel like going out whether to angouleme, cognac, bordeaux, brantome, riberac, aubeterre or perigaud.
We missed the aubeterre night market which was a good one i gather with lots of food stalls, live music and magicians.
Then sunday was the Verteillac brocante where we and our guests found some lovely things - we'll post there here soon for you to admire
