As the world basks in high temperatures with Spain at 48C we have a lowly 38C to deal with.
Sure its hot, but its a nice soothing heat and keeping the shutters closed in the day on the house keeps it very cool as the chalk block walls are very thick and made to deal with these temperatures.
Its lovely lying around the garden soaking up the heat and then into the hammocks for a shady nap.
Its no too hot to go visiting either - angouleme, cognac, riberac, bergerac, montbron, marthon, montbron, brantome, piegut , limoges or bordeaux.
But if you are feeling lazy, just a good BBQ and a nice cold beer will do the business.
